Thor is home for hunting season and we decided to enter some shows while we are waiting for the birds to arrive. In his first two shows since he was six-months-old, Thor went WD for two points the first day and then went Best of Breed the second day for a four point major at the Kennel Club of Riverside on September 27 & 28, 2006. Thor now has seven points with one major.
In his second weekend of showing on November 4 & 5, Thor won back-to-back majors at the San Gabriel and Antelope Valley shows and a Best of Opposite Sex award over specials. Thor now has 13 points with three majors.
On November 11, 2006, Thor went BW at the San Luis Obispo Kennel Club show to finish his AKC bench championship. Thor was undefeated in the classes in obtaining his championship, having gone WD, BW, BOS or BOB in every show he was entered in as a class dog.
