A Little Background Info

I am a native of California.  I was born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles called Gardena.  Dad passed away when I was a baby so it was just mom and my sister Cathy all those years.  I graduated from Gardena High School in 1972.  I even got married (the first time) in Gardena.  After my divorce, I moved back to (where else) Gardena.  I was busy raising my daughter, working, saving my money.  Then in 1985 I bought a home in Long Beach.  I had that home for 13 years.  I've never lived out of the Southern California area.  I love it here and always have managed to live no further than 10 or 15 miles away from the ocean.  I love the afternoon ocean breeze.

Now Hanna and I live in Orange County near the foothills of Saddleback Mountain.  The view is spectacular here.  On clear days I can see the ocean way off in the distance and the mountain is just a couple miles from home.  There's still open space here, horses, cows... we even have bunnies and squirrels that roam into the backyard and once in a while, a raccoon or a skunk!

Pets

Little Hanna first started wanting a dog when she was four years old.  We started out with a Betta fish first, then we got a cat, and now we finally have the dog.  We recently acquired an aquarium (10 gallons) for Hanna's room; it makes a nice night light and she has taken full responsibility for feeding her fish.
