Five By Five Art Exhibit Variations on a Theme

The much acclaimed traveling exhibit which made its debut in April 2003 at the St. Tammany Art Association, in Covington Louisiana, has traveled to the Louisiana State Archives in Baton Rouge for a nine-week exhibit and to the Zigler Museum in 2004. This unique exhibit revolves around five different objects painted by five women artists in their own genre. The artists are Monica Bishara, Carol Creel, Patti Pilie, Annie Strack and Karen Stakelum. Although each artist paints in watercolors and their styles vary, the exhibit is linked together by the five objects that they have chosen to portray. Each artist is a member of the Louisiana Watercolor Society.
