From
the inception of Roanoke's Public Art Program, young people
have contributed creative energy and ideas, participating
in the development of the Art
for Everyone Public Art Plan (PDF)
and now working with a local artist in the development of
two bus shelters.
All
of the pieces in the AIR exhibition can be used as an introduction
to art and as as a guide in exploring it further. Volunteers
are working as the pieces are installed to develop tools for
