My name is Carla. Born in August of 1977, I have the distinct pleasures of having been born under the Sun Sign of Leo, and also being born under the Chinese Astrological Sign of the Snake.
I love reading, and it is not unusual for me to curl up with a good book for extended periods of time. My interests vary; sometimes I will read poetry, and other times I will not be able to pry myself away from a good fiction book. The authors I favour include: Louise Cooper, Nelson DeMille, Robert Frost, Terry Goodkind, Thomas Harris, Adrienne Rich, John Sandford, William Shakespeare and Dylan Thomas.
Music is another passion of mine. My tastes vary according to mood, though I do have consistent favourites. These include: Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Jann Arden, Aria, Garth Brooks, Creed, Melissa Etheridge, Lifehouse, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Nine Inch Nails, Orb, Portishead, Collin Raye, Rush, Sting, Tonic and Vertical Horizon. I also enjoy various motion picture soundtracks and classical music.
Some of my favourite artists include: Antonio Cocilovo, John-Paul Dowling, Alan M. Hunt, Paul Ross Matthews, Jose Raphael Parra, Vincent Van Gogh and Carl Wolf.
In addition, I enjoy: sport bike riding with my male friends, spending time in the company of my family and friends, movies, watching and attending Arizona Diamondbacks games, observing storms, writing and the stars.
