10th Annual Meeting Minutes
November 16, 2000
Dr. Hassan called the meeting to order with 15 members attending.
Minutes of the 1999 Annual Meeting were distributed and approved. Treasurer's report was presented by Courtney Ruthven and approved.
Dr. Hassan presented plaques to the following past presidents for the work they had done.
Dr. Jared Gardner, Dr. Lauren Welch, Dr. Eustaquio Abay
Election was held and the following officers and were elected:
President – elect for Term 2002-2004 Andrew Massey, MD
Vice-President – elect for Term 2002-2004 Ty Schwertfeger, MD
Secretary-Treasurer - Term 2002-2004 Hana Razek, MD
The proposed website was presented and the following comments were made:
The Mission Statement, Laws of Incorporation, and Bylaws, list of officers have been set up. It was suggested that we have our chapter linked to the National Society. Also that we have a page listing the specialties of our members, link to the Medical Centers.
Discussion was held about where to have our web site stored. We checked with UKSM-W and they would store it for $250 a year and update for $25 an hour. Further checking will be done.
A website committee was appointed: Dr. Richard Gilmartin, Dr. Andrew Massey, and Dr. Norman Pay. The committee will make all the final decisions regarding the website.
