Minutes of 2001 Annual Meeting, 2002 Treasurer Report and Board of Directors meeting minutes were passed out to each member as they arrived.

Minutes of 2001 Annual Meeting were approved and Treasurer report for 2002 approved as reported.

Dr. Massey reported on the Board of Directors meeting, which was held to discuss budget and membership. It was decided that the membership dues would be increased by $25 (new members and national members remaining the same).

He encouraged members to share with their colleagues the benefits of belonging to WSN as well as notifying new physicians coming into Wichita. It was agreed that when sending the membership dues invoice a letter would be included explaining the benefits.

Dr. Massey congratulated and thanked all the members of WSN who took the time to mentor a house officer or student. We had 53 third year students last year and 62 this year who are required to experience the neurosciences during the third year NeuroPsychiatry clerkship, as well as countless more students or house officers who later choose an elective rotation in the Neurosciences. The contribution of time, effort, guidance, and support for education of young physicians in training is deeply appreciated.
