It's official...I am online and flying for America West Airlines out of Phoenix. Here is a picture of the Boeing 737 that I fly at America West. Weighing in at 139,000 lbs. it is just a little ofer 1/3 the size of the DC-8. If you hop onto an America West flight, pop your head into the cockpit and say "hi Dean"!

Here is a Picture of the Aircraft I flew at Emery Worldwide Airlines... DC8 Built between 1959 to 1972. Emery has the last DC8 ever built N797AL.

Stats: 4 engines producing 22,000 lbs of thrust each, 187' long, 148' wingspan, Max takeoff weight of 355,000 lbs. (that's over a quarter million pounds or 177 tons!!!)

One of my prior jobs at Trans World Express in St. Louis, MO. I started as a First Officer in the J41 then upgraded to Captain in the Jetstream J32.
