A full day of hang gliding instruction. 1-2 hours of ground handling followed by 3-5 hours on the training hill. A great way to begin, and you can deduct the cost from the Beginner package (below) if you decide to continue!

Get a taste of real freedom with a tandem (instructor and student) flight. You and long-time instructor Eric Smith will foot launch at one of southern Arizona's excellent mountain hang-gliding sites, soar above the valley, and perhaps catch a thermal before landing in a large, grassy field. It's the best way there is to find out what hang gliding is really like!

Includes an Introductory Tandem Flight, ground school and training hill instruction using our glider and equipment to earn the USHGA Hang 1 (beginner) rating.

The additional ground school, towing and mountain flying instruction using our glider and equipment to progress from your USHGA Hang 1 to Hang 2 (novice) rating.
