ATC 110

I picked this up at an auction. It looked unloved but turned out to be in pretty good shape.

Initially the compression was low. The gas tank and carburetor were cleaned out and the thing started easily. Now the compression is back and it starts first pull every time.

The forks were pushed back about three inches but were straighten easily. Most of the handle bar mounted controls needed parts or replacement. With a new seat cover from JC Whitney installed it is looking pretty good.

I have minimum experience with the 3-wheelers. I still vividly remember riding a friends ATC90 years ago.  I know it doesn’t have to go very fast to give an exciting ride.

A friend at work ended up hurting his leg pretty bad on a quad. As I understand it, he got his foot down at speed. Ended up bending the non-folding foot peg back before he was dragged off the thing by the rear tire. Got a helicopter ride out of the desert for that one. With the small amount of time I have on three wheelers in the past I remember chewing up the back of the legs a little. It's hard to remember not to put your foot down when it gets to rocking. It seemed like a good idea to build a foot guard. Now there's one less way to hurt yourself on an ATC.

Tires are now installed and it ready to go.
