Saturday Annual meeting starts at 10AM with luncheon. The guest speaker is Steven W. Allen, a Mesa attorney, has just written "Founding Fathers -- Uncommon Heroes," a book that provides an interesting glimpse into the lives of six of the men who helped form our great nation (Franklin, Washington, Adams, Henry, Jefferson and Madison).
Steven has taught about the Founding Fathers at Brigham Young University Education Week for years -- although addresses at AZSSAR chapter meetings or even your annual meeting in February wouldn't cover all of the interesting information contained in the book, he could share some interesting anecdotes about these founding fathers and their roles in shaping our country.
For more information about Steven and his book, visit http://uncommonheroes.us/. Please feel free to pass this information along to the SAR chapters in Arizona. Thank you for your help!
