Surviving B-17 Flying Fortresses
What's New
To help my visitors find all my updates I decided to start this What's New page.  Here you will find out when I have found some new B-17 pictures or when I have found time to update the history of one of the B-17s.
Date What has changed:

27 November 2004 New picture added of 44-85583 on display at Base Aérea do Recife, Recife, Brazil.  Thank you to Felipe Carvalho for sending a current picture of 44-85583.

15 November 2004 Today I updated the outdated Memphis Belle page.  I added current information on the the Air Force announcement that it would terminate the loan agreement of the Memphis Belle and return her to The National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.  I also added links to pictures of the move to the restoration hanger and restoration progress.

17 February 2002 For the second time in a little more than a year I have had to switch servers to host my web site.  Thanks to all of you who have been able to follow me from place to place.  The last year and a half has presented a lot of new challenges that have prevented my spending time updating my site.  I a will honestly try harder to post new info and keep my site up to date.  Thanks for visiting.

9 July 2001 It has been quite some time since my last update, because of work and family related commitments. Finally though, a new update.  I updated the Pink Lady page with new pictures and a new link to the Association Forteresse Toujours Volante web page.  I hope to be able to keep up with new updates.

15 September 2000 Welcome to the new home for Surviving B-17 Flying Fortresses.  It took me quite a bit longer to get my update online than I expected.  My page is still under construction so please bear with me.  I will be updating through the weekend and hope to be fully functional by the first week in October.

15 June 2000 I have moved to Florida and am unable to dial up locally to my Internet Service Provider (ISP).  I will be switching ISPs soon and want to let everyone know to check back often for the new location.  I am unable to leave a forwarding location on my old server so if you don't check back often you my not find me after I switch.  Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for visiting.

30 April 2000 Finally some news from Brazil on B-17G 44-85583 at Base Aérea do Recife.  I have been waiting a long time to find out if this B-17 was on display or in storage down there.  I would like to graciously thank a reader of my page, Afonso Pires Archilla, for sending me some pictures of 44-85583.
