    Air, water, food, shelter and medical care are free for locals, provided for by a 50% taxation rate. Visitors must pay an air tax of 0.5 Cr/day. Bands are issued with up to 100 days credit which change color as its time runs out. These bands are good at any habitat in the system.
    Water is unmetered in most hotels and is included in the price of the room. In some establishments coin or card fed meters must be paid for water at 1Cr/100 liters.

Glisten City and Porfiru are linked by hourly jump transport via Kaitlyn. Twice daily jump service to any of the larger cities not blocked by jump shadow run from each of the three cities and less frequently to smaller cities. This causes constant shifts in the schedules as habitats are masked and unmasked by orbital movement. Shuttles run hourly to settlements closer in normal space from almost any settlement.
