When it comes time for the PC's to sell their ship to pay fines consult this page
To determine the condition of the ship roll 1 d6
| Condition Divisor | Random roll d6 |
| 1 | 6 (Good) |
| 1.2 | 3-5 (Fair) |
| 2 | 1-2 (Poor) |
A ship in good condition has all systems working properly although there may be some damage points to the various systems. A ship in fair condition will have 1-3 minor problems. A ship in poor condition will have 1-3 minor problems and 1-2 major problems.
To determine the age of the ship roll 2d6-1.
If 1 is rolled, ships age is (2d)-2 years.
On 2-10 ships age is 2d6 *10 years.
If a 11 is rolled the ship is 100+(3d-2*10) years old.
| Ships Age | Base % of Discount Price |
| 0-5 | 90 |
| 6-10 | 80 |
| 11-15 | 70 |
| 16-30 | 60 |

Black/Gray market trading in ships will reduce the sale price for the PC. Roll 1D6-3*10% and apply as a positive or negative price mod when dealing in shadow markets.
The PC's capture a ship and want to know what its worth. The GM determines it is a 1 kton Desmii class merchant with a base discount price of MCr 280.848. The GM rolls a 4 on 1d to determine the ship is in Fair condition. Rolling a 12 on 2d, he rerolls on 2d for 8*10= 80 years.
The base price for the ship is (280.848*0.4)/1.2= MCr 93.616. Since the PCs don't have title they have to sell it at a discount.
Rolling a 1 gives a final price of 93.616*.6=56.17MCr
