Fusion Cutter
Used for mining, tunneling, excavating and hollowing planetoids. The cutter can excavate up to a 5m diameter tunnel. It may be focused to cut a tunnel as small as 2m in diameter. Exceptionaly dense or high heat capacity materials may reduce cutting capacity to 80%. Fine work such as small compartments, large planters, etc... may be accomplished at a 50% reduction in cutting capacity. The operator must wear a heat/radiation protection in order to operate the unit.

Fusion Tunneler
A smaller version of the Fusion Cutter appearing at TL 13, the Tunneler is able to cut tunnels from 2.5m to as small as 0.5m in diameter. It may be used for fine work such as doorways, furniture etc... at a 50% reduction in capacity. Exceptionally dense or high heat capacity materials may reduce cutting capaccity to 80%. The operator must wear heat/radiation protection to operate the unit.
