A Little Mudding

It's been raining here in Arizona
It has been raining quite heavily here in Phx. the last few days. When it rains here your a fool if you don't go out and have some fun in while you can. So I put everything else aside and went out and played!
These shots were taken the day after the rain and the mud is already really drying up. I was here the day before and you couldn't even hardly walk because the ground was so slick. Unfortunately we didn't get any video of us having fun then. The car was throwing mud over a hundred feet (33m)!!! You could also slide it like crazy, What a blast! If the camera man had been standing in this spot the day before he would have been completely plastered with mud.

This was definitely driver error. I didn't realize how deep the mud was in this ditch and entered it to slowly. I got stuck in the first ditch, but managed to rock it out quite easily, but the the right rear tire started getting good grip and slid the front of the car left. The mud was so slick I couldn't steer out of it, and couldn't stop either or we would end up back where we started. I tried to power through the second ditch, but just didn't have enough momentum. The mud wasn't that deep, just slick as hell. Imagine pouring chocolate pudding all over your kitchen floor then trying to walk in it. That's how it was. It took us about 45 minutes to get it out. I then went back through again with no problems. But, by this time it had started pouring again so we didn't pull the camera out for any more videos. We had a blast trying to get it out. It really was funny as hell, we were slipping an falling all over the place and laughing our asses off. It's to bad there wasn't a third person to film it!
