crash

This is what happens when you land on an atc. We were in Glamis again for Thanks Giving weekend, romping in the dunes. We decided to take a few jump photos and found a perfect ramp right near our campsite, fortunately. After a few test runs I lined up for the real thing. My spotter waved me on, I really don't know what he was thinking. As I started to come down I spotted the atc and could do nothing, what a rotten feeling. I thought I had killed the guy. I jumped out and all I saw was a mangled bike and I mean mangled! I didn't see the rider not even under the car, then upon looking up I saw a guy walking towards me . The rider had bailed off, narrowly escaping death. It was so close that he had tire marks on his riding boot. He had flown past the photographer and landed right next to the, so called, spotter. As it turns out he was one of the guys in our group that weekend and knew what we were doing. So what he was doing there I have no idea. Even though the vehicles were a mess no one was hurt and that's a GOOD thing.

We dragged the vehicles back to camp and the guy I hit trailered the car home for me. I don't remember his name, but thanks go to him for that. This shouldn't have happened, but if you believe in fate then I guess it was just destined to for some reason.

Oh well, a crash is always a good excuse to do more modifications. I installed a one piece front-end and designed a custom front suspension system that worked awesome.
