These shots were taken on their trip through the Nachez Trail.
Here they are getting ready to head out. The Jeep belongs to their buddy ????
They encountered a little mud and snow along the way.
Here they are on the trail and look the guy in the jeep has converted to a baja already!!! You've gotta love it. :)

It's about to get sticky
This mud hole proved to be a real mess.
Looks like Kurt almost made it through, but not quite. Now it's time for some winch action.

Todd ended up blowing the spider gears in his trans on Saturday. So about 5:00am Sunday morning he took John's baja 50 miles back home, grabbed a spare trans, took a shower and headed back. He had the spare in and running by noon.
Kurt then fell victom to blown spiders on Sunday. He didn't have a spare, but managed to limp back on his own. John say both Kurt and Todd are heavy into the turning brakes and this may have contributed to the failures.
Just so all you buggers don't feel to bad after seeing this, the jeep had no better luck and also required winching.
They say they had a great weekend despite the breakdowns.
I love this trail through the forest. We just don't have areas like this in Arizona.
