There is ongoing concern about off-roading and its impact on the surroundings. With the recent popularity of 4x4s, the trails and more importantly the areas around them are becoming torn up. This is partially due to extra traffic, inexperienced drivers and under equipped vehicles. But it's largely due to uncaring and disrespectful people!
If we are to keep our privilege of off-roading as we know it, we must TREAD LIGHTLY in the pristine areas. And if you pack it in, always pack it out. If it fit in your vehicle full it will definitely fit empty! Don't tear up virgin terrain just to show off your vehicle, there's already enough areas for doing this and they usually provide a better opportunity for raising hell anyway.
Show a little common decency and respect out there, that's all that's needed.
