Crown King Trail

[10 phts & video]

I smell something burning...ah no big deal, just a tire.

Here I am weaving my way through some tight stuff

This is a section of the Terminator Trail. This is an extreme trail used by four wheelers. One of the jeeps that was along on the trip could not get past this section, and the trail only gets worse. So we didn't go much further. someday I would like to give it another try.

Coming down this hill wasn't bad, but getting up it with all these loose rocks was pretty tough.

This baja belonged to Bill in Glendale, Arizona.

It was a swing axle with a 1600dp and air shocks on the rear. Unfortunatly this car was stolen.
It was found stripped in the desert.
Bastards

This is Greg's baja from Northridge, California.

Greg had Rory Chenowth (Chenowth Fabrication) build this in 98, when he had $ and no time. It has A arms front and rear, 1835 eng, type 2 trans, disc brakes, proportioning valve, GPS, 26 gal fuel tank, runs and rides great!!

This is a really great and modern technology ride. Take a look at Greg's page for a few detailed pics.

This baja belongs to Ryan in California

Ryan writes: Hi this is a hill for 4x4s only, so ha, we showed them. This is a hill out in Red Rock canyon in CA. Its a 69 bug with a 1600 engine"kinda small but gets the job done".

This is Mark & Mary's baja from Glendale, AZ.

I thought I would send on some pictures of our baja on it's first trip out. It started out as a lowered street sled, now this 75 beetle will spend the rest of it's life prowling the Arizona desert. We took it out on a recent Javelina hunt just north of Phoenix (near the town of Bumble Bee). We had a great time the car did what ever we asked. Only a few trail adjustments needed to be made. Now that we have shaken it down, we decided we need to make a few changes. More Power, More Clutch, More Gear and re install the heater boxes 8^).Your site is awesome, we referred to it often while putting this one together, thanks.
