TOM'S PROJECT

This is tom's car. It's a 69 and yes the body damage is repairable, but it has a fair amount of rust in the back. And being as we're from Arizona there are much better candidates for restoration so we decided to baja it.

Here's some pics of how it looks so far.

As you can see we installed a baja kit and wheels. These came from a wrecking yard and only cost $100 for everything. We also installed a solid trans mount kit, bobcat exhaust, double tube rear and single tube front bumpers. Tom's buddy gave him a set of fiberglass bucket seats complete with covers and harnesses. All we had to do was make the mounting brackets and install them. Tom says many thanks to his buddy. And to finish it off we turned the rear torsion bars for a little lift.

Here's Tom getting a little air. Nothing to serious, his front end is still completely stock.

Here he's doing a little hill climbing

This is his first time driving a baja, looks like he's doing pretty good.
