The photograph given to me by Ted's sister, Ivy (Richardson) Sanders. She remembered that about 1921 to 1923 she and her family attended an event at the Palace Theater in Baltimore where her brother Ted performed playing Dardanella on the saxophone.

Garden Society Orchestra
Ted Richardson played saxophone in this big band style orchestra in Baltimore, Maryland in the 1920s. He is on the right hand side of the photograph.

This is the business card that Ted Richardson was using in 1948 when he had a hillbilly band with his brother Ben. They played "mountain or hillbilly" music in the bars and honkeytonks of Baltimore during the 1940's and 1950s.
