The bubble wands are multi-colored pipe cleaners from a local Michael's store. I drilled holes in the wooden wheel and glued them in. You could use a knob instead of a wood wheel - whatever works. The pipe cleaners work great as they hold a lot of bubble solution. They do get bent up over time so I'm thinking of maybe using wooden doweling for fixed shafts to pipe cleaner wand holes.
