Phoenix Children's Hospital

Go To PCH.com Our club charity for the year 2000 is Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH), which was founded in 1980. PCH is the only licensed pediatric hospital in Arizona. It is an independent hospital with facilities located at Good Samaritan Regional Medical. The hospital also has Outpatient Specialty Care Centers in Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale and Glendale. Phoenix Children's Hospital features a family-centered care philosophy with special support programs for patients and families.

To date, Barryzona's Southwest Magic has donated thousands of dollars, plus many man hours to help the children at Submarine Bay, our adopted sub-acute care unit at PCH. You can learn more about our endeavors for Submarine Bay when you peruse these Charity Drive pages.

Phoenix Children's Hospital is currently constructing its own facility which is expected to be completed in the fall of 2001. This is very exciting since Phoenix Children's Hospital will have its own building and rented space will no longer be needed. This new facility will be located in down-town Phoenix, around 22nd Avenue and Thomas.

Barryzona's contributions since its inception in 1997 have totaled over $11,500 with approximately $8,700 of this amount going to our adopted units Submarine Bay Sub-Acute and the Bio-Behavioral unit. The balance of the total was given to two other in-need charities, "HIV Care Directions," and "The Child Crisis Center" of the East Valley.
