The
Club was formed in 1996, and started out with the pistol range, and added
the shotgun range in 1997, and the rifle range in 1998. Membership in the
club is done thru application, and once approved, the members have use of
the facility year round, with the exception of deer firearms season.
Membership in the NRA is required, as the club is an affiliated NRA club,
to obtain liability insurance. For less than 1 dollar a week, the members
are able to use the ranges, and bring family and guests to the facilities.
Matches are held monthly, and are open to the public. A Junior Club meets
once a month, to educate the youth on safety, good sportsmanship, and
marksmanship. There is no cost for youth to attend this, and the club
provides all needed items.
