ATTITUDE-
has to do with your mental approach to the game. It has to do with staying
positive, believing in yourself, and playing with confidence. You have
a much better chance of winning and having fun if you stay focused on
your game and staying positive no matter what the situation may be.
Confidence. If you believe in your abilities, then you keep your
energy level up and keep doing things decisively. Confidence is often
what separates players of equal physical abilities and is a large factor
in how well you perform.
Concentration. The ability to stay focused on the game and alert
makes you much better prepared to anticipate and to react to the actions
that take place during the game. Staying focused on the telltale signs
that help you anticipate what shot your opponent will make will help build
your confidence and undermine theirs.
Fun. Keep having fun while you play. It makes it much more enjoyable
and keeps you motivated and energized. Getting down on yourself just depletes
your energy and causes you to lose your focus. So keep a positive attitude
and have fun while you are out on the court.
