  7. Xara X 1 -- 10-9--04  Having been a part of Corel, now back with its original owners, Xara has unleashed a speed demon.
  8. Cursor XP -- 10-10-2004 -- Stardock's program allows you to customize your Mice in Windows. A serious make-over for windows that will be a real winner for those who want to redesign window's standard mice.

  10. Iolo: System Mechanic Professional Version 5! -- October 21, 2004 News of the demise of the utility suite has been exaggerated. Iolo is back with an improved feature rich set of tools that offers power and performance with excellent price points.
  11. McAfee Virusscan 9 2005 -- October 21, 2004 Faster, small and well designed, McAfee has scored a winning virus scanner that is easily downloadable. Existing users will want this one.
  12. McAfee Spamkiller  10-23-2004 They have taken the spamkiller as independent program again.
  13. Mc Afee Privacy Service -- October 23, 2004 --This one works with the idea of software as a service.
  14. Mc Afee Anti Spy Ware  --October 23, 2004 -- This time they are attacking software that creeps up on you.
  15. McAfee Quick Clean  -- October 23, 2004 --This time they are all about keeping things from cluttering your hard drive. This one has been around for a while and it looks very consistent.
  16. McAfee Firewall 2005  -- October 23, 2004 --This has been a long time favorite. Easy to set up, informative, there is a great deal to like even if you are not already invested in this system.
  17. Lockspam 3 Pro  October 24, 2004 -- A plug in for Outlook and Outlook Express that keeps spam under control. One of the better utilities in this arena.
  18. Registry First Aid    October 24, 2004 Rose City Software's easy to use and operate registry cleaner.
  19. Registry Mechanic 3.0.3  New October 24, 2004 PC Tools is a popular tool that upgrades frequently.
  20. Verbatim's Store n Go, -- This little USB drive cold be the best way to go for your storage needs.

  36.  Norton Anti Spam 2005,  Is this a solid program that works on just a few systems, or does this software really blow.
