This is an excellent starter gun for beginning youngsters in 3Position.
Small bore Repeater, Model 1451 R Sporter Target Small bore repeating rifle with heavy Anschütz match barrel and grooved receiver for telescopic sight. Cam cocking system, lateral safety and claw extractor. Two-stage trigger 5066 with safety. This is like the 1903 only downsized for the younger shooter. It has a two stage trigger, 22" 3/4" barrel, adjustable butt, and accessory rail, 6.5 pounds.
Has reputation as excellent shooter, but tempermental to tune.
Anschütz especially developed this model for the discipline of "Benchrest". Basic technology from the Model 2013/2007.
