The 1858 census of Johannestal shows him living with his uncle Friedrich Heinle's family and his sister Justina Heinle, who married Michael Will.

He may have made an earlier trip to the US with his brother, Christian in 1901, then returned for the rest of his family.

Imigration records indicate she Left from Libau, Belgium to New York and arrived June 10, 1907 on the ship Arconia. This ship was owned by the Russia East Asiaatic Steamship Co.
The lived for a time in New York before they moved to South Dakota.

Her confirmation certificate says she was confirmed in Privalnoye = Warenburg. Most likely this is only the location of the confirmation service.

Naturalized 9 May 1932.
The family moved to California and settled in Sanger, October 18, 1937.
