Once there was this young man,
who lived way back in the hills.
They did not have any money,
since they shut down the mills.
He didn't have any shoes
and his shirt was full of holes.
His mother died long ago
so he played a lot of rolls.
No one ever helped him
as he live so far back in.
He never got a Christmas gift
not even from his kin.
He used to watch his brother
until he left and ran away.
Now he has one sister left
and her name is ellie mae.
Together they are all alone,
as there's no one else around.
Pa left them all alone,
as he took off for the town.
That was 5 long years ago
and he's never coming back.
Its now just ellie mae
and her brother Jack.
