St. Paddys day is almost here,
and Seamus will lead us in song.
As we all lift our glasses high,
in a celebration of this throng.
Top o' the mornin' starts the day,
as everyone try's to join in.
Colleen smiles while step dancing
with an occasional little spin.
In a lot of our big cities,
parades fill the streets
The bands are playing loudly
for the people in their seats.
In Chicago they dye the river
in a shade of Kelly green.
In a little pub down the road
a musician plays Skibbereen.
St. Paddys Day is almost upon us,
as we celebrate in different ways.
While some people are truely Irish
others just join in the craze.
