Never should you feel inadequate
in poems that you can't rhyme.
For I have discovered this,
that it will always come in time.
Could be about some friendly folks
or friends you've come to love.
Could be about that little church
or your blessings from above.
Could be about your Mom or Dad
or grandpa and grandma too.
Could be about your favorite pet
or any loveing thought will do.
For writing a poem cost so little
just a portion of your time.
Just look deep within your heart
you'll find those words that rhyme.
Writing a poem need not be long
it might only take a minute.
Simply look within your heart
and write what you find in it.
