Way out in the west,
in an old run down town.
Once it was thriving,
now it's turning brown.

The people moved away,
to a newer fancy place.
And everything that's left,
is now in deep disgrace.

This town once full of life,
now sits quietly rotting away.
If only the buildings could talk,
and not in so much disarray.

The lives that once here thrived,
have now passed on for ever.
Have drained this old place,
of life now gone forever.

A ghost town might fade away,
and never live again.
But the legends that they hold,
live on forever and maybe remain.
