Across the deep Atlantic
away from Erin Green.
She moved to Illinois
to start another Dream.
Three boys she raised,
whose spirits were wild.
She told us of Ireland
with stories beguiled.
Her nursing profession
she did to her best.
That's why many people
of her they'd request.
To comfort and care
for everyone's pain.
She did it with a smile
she'd never complain.
She moved to Arizona
to live out her life.
Together with my father
for she was a good wife.
With a sparkle in the eye,
a little laugh with a grin.
How she loved to tease,
with a passion from within.
Now her body is gone
but her spirit's alive.
To Carry on her life's lesson
are those who survive.
For now she's in Heaven
with our Lord up above.
Together with her family
to shower her with love.
