From out of the pine trees
a little deer was at play.
His life time achievement
was to pull Santa's sleigh.
Proud to be considered
for not many ever are.
Once he learns to fly
he can carry Santa far.
The training was rugged
but still they had some fun.
Thats why they play games
to stretch out while they run.
Living way up in the north
under the northern lights.
With all the snow and ice
and long dark winter nights.
Happy to never see a hunter
and not get hit by a car.
To become really famous
and become a special star.
