There was a young lady
who came here from tralee.
Her shoes were emerald green
she was fancy as could be.

Her coat of golden thread
matched the color of her hair.
Men would all raise up
and offer her their chair.

Her skirt was Kelly green
trimmed with velvet bands.
And nothing could compare
to the softness of her hands.

With a smile so sweet and kind
she'd take your breath away.
If she'd grace you with a kiss
your mind would turn into disarray.

Ah! yes this lass from tralee
county Kerry Ireland.
With a motion from her hand
she'd have all at her command.
