LEGO City 2 - Cutie Store

Cutie Store - The Fashion Tower

Here, the viewer can see the Cutie Store.  The Cutie Store carries all sorts of items for women including the latest fashion, hair-care products, makeup, and other things of that nature.

The cutie store has recently undergone a major expansion using some modern Belville and Freestyle parts.  Three additional floors were added.

The viewer may notice that there are more men visible in the picture than one might expect for a business catering to women.  Actually, the Cutie store has acquired a reputation as being "the" place to meet women in LEGO City 2.  Sometimes, there are almost as many men in the store as women!  Of course, none of them admit to being on the prowl.  Favorite cover stories include shopping for a sister, mother, or other female family member.  Strangely enough, there has never been a problem with any of these men being overly aggressive with the female customers.  Noted psychology professor "DR H.R. LEGO-on-my-Brain" believes that the proximity of the rather formidable LEGO City policy building to the Cutie store is the primary reason for this good behavior.  Another contributing factor is probably that smiles are permanently engraved on the faces of all LEGO figures.

The Cutie Store is owned by the famous local business woman known as "Cutie."  Cutie is always dressed in the highest fashion and makes a splash wherever she goes.  Often Cutie wanders by while portions of LEGO City 2 are being constructed and construction must halt while the workers gaze at Cutie's fantastic beauty.  Cutie has even attempted a little building of her own, but dropped it in favor of more interesting things like making scrapbooks, dreaming up new culinary concoctions, and shopping.  Despite Cutie's wealth, she is said to be incredibly caring and loving towards the populous.  Rumors have recently been floating around that Cutie has hooked up with the designer of Lego City 2, but such rumors have not yet been substantiated.

This shot shows the upper half of the Cutie Store.  The viewer can see the large "flower" sculptures that set off the upper story.  Interestingly enough, these "flowers" double as cellular phone antennas, bringing in some healthy profits for the Cutie Corporation.

This picture shows the main entrance.  Although most of the Cutie Store is modeled in a Baroque style, the entrance was designed as a colonial style porch.  Apparently, the designer couldn't bare not to use the two pink columns in the structure, and the porch seemed the most reasonable way of incorporating them.
