LEGO City 2 Space Port

		The Lego City 2 Space Port is situated on the extreme eastern edge of the city. Although not usually mentioned, this location was chosen so as to minimize potential damage in the event of an accident. The spaceport currently has a shuttle ready for launch. To the right of the launch pad (i.e. in front of the shuttle), is the control center. The blue glass sky-scraper behind the shuttle is the 13 story space research agency building. All technical design and scientific mission planning occurs in this building. Under the launch pad and space research building, there is a large open space between the two railroad tracks. This area is used for vehicle assembly and cargo storage.

This shot shows the main entrance to the space research and launch complex. A whimsical architecture was chosen in the belief that scientific research is fun and exciting.
