Just minutes from the Greed Square area of BrickTopia is situated the city harbor. At the harbor entrance stands the beautiful edifice of the Coast Watch HQ, shown here. Although covered with icons of "safety" and "rescue," the true purpose of this building is somewhat more ... greedy. Historically, the harbor has been an important route for trade as well as tourism. Although both of these ventures were profitable for those involved, the city found itself lacking in participation. Looking for ways to increase civic revenues, leaders discussed the possibility of levying additional taxes on foreign trade and tourism. This proposal was finalized and approved by unanimous vote. Unfortunately, tourists and shippers refused to give up their money willingly. To change its fortunes, the city created an infrastructure to ensure that the appropriate funds were collected. The towering Coast Watch HQ was created to process incoming "guests" and accept their taxes (as well as help with an occasional rescue or two). To make the HQ a "necessary" first stop for visitors, a fleet of interceptor helicopters, named XH98's, were created to help locate, and, if necessary, attack incoming ships. One of these helicopters is visible on the lower-right of the photo. Now, all ships must stop at the Coast Watch HQ, and pay the appropriate dues. Failure to cooperate can result in additional financial losses, or personal injury. |

Below, one sees the entrance of the building in greater detail. To the right of the entrance, one may notice a small dark-gray video camera. This camera records all visitor entries. Additionally, the camera is equipped with a gun in case it is necessary to pacify unruly guests.
