| This is the BrickTopia Disney Store.
With its wealthy population, BrickTopia was the perfect choice for the latest, and, by far, the largest Disney Store. The only available real estate was a small sliver of land next to Chateau Paradisa in mid-town. This lack of land force the construction of an extremely tall building in order to provide the required floor-space. The resulting architecture is primarily Baroque to fit in with the other buildings in the area. However, there is a bit of whimsy thrown into the mix. Large Plexiglas windows feature oversize Mickey and Minnie statues designed to lure shoppers to part with their money. A picket fence lines the street front on the first story. The city architect threw a fit about this claiming that the fence did not match the Baroque style of the building. Disney insisted on it though claiming it toned down the formal feel of the facade.

The image below is a close-up of the entrance. One can clearly see the decidedly Baroque features including multiple bands of columns, arches within arches, and the white "ribbon" of stone cascading off either side of the entrance.

The next picture shows a close-up of the center of the building. The large window assembly in the middle is mounted at a 30 degree angle to the rest of the wall.

The following shot shows the top of the building. This portion of the building serves as the private offices and temporary housing for Disney executives. The large Plexiglas dome admits light through the central rotunda providing a wonderful atmosphere for executives to plot their next business decision.
