BrickTopia Spaceport Interior

This shot shows the main control room.

The port commander surveys all activities on the second floor.

On the first floor, A TV crew is filming a probing 60-Minutes segment the commander's secret affair with the Mayor's wife.  Of course, they aren't telling him that.  They claim that they are doing a documentary on space flight.

On the lower-right, a technician checks a hydrogen tank for leaks.

On the next floor is the infirmary.  For extra safety, this medical facility is located directly on site, eliminating the need to waste precious minutes transporting patients to BrickTopia hospital.

Unfortunately, this facility is not always staffed with qualified doctors.  Today, two mechanics had to fill in.

An astronaut came in for a minor cut on his hands and the mechanics decided that the only solution was to amputate his hands to prevent spread of infection.

Additionally, while working with their preferred surgical tools (including chain saws), they accidentally nicked the astronaut in the head.  Once can see blood dripping out below his helmet.

Maybe the hospital would have been better?

In this shot, one can see the astronaut ready room.  Here, astronauts can suit up for upcoming space flights.

Note the green "B" on the astronauts' chests.  This stands for "BrickTopia" and is worn by all native BrickTopian astronauts.

At the top of the building is the personal jet-pack launch pad.  This is used by astronauts wanting to minimize their commute to and from work.

They simply suit up in their rocket suits and take off for home.

This view shows the second launch pad.  Below that, one can see the interior of the control room for launch pad 2 and launch pad 1.
