General Information
Welcome to the Saddleback Valley IBM PC User Group web page.
We meet once a month in South Orange County to learn about computers, share
information with others, and enjoy the company of our friends. Membership costs
$20 per year and is one of the greatest bargains around. Guests are always welcome,
but after you attend a few times we hope that you will become a dues paying
member.
In addition to learning about the topic of the day, there is always time for
a general question and answer session for pesky problems that come up. At the
end of each meeting we place our name in a drawing to win door prizes. Some
of the door prizes can get quite elaborate and others are quite simple. Sometimes
we have enough door prizes for everyone in attendance including guests.
Between meetings we keep in touch by e-mail. Sometimes we have been known to
deviate from computer topics such as health, investing, and genealogy, But more
often, the subject has something to do with computers, the Internet, digital
photography, or consumer electronics.
We hope you will stop by one Saturday morning for a visit to see for yourself
what we are all about. Remember, we have members of all skill levels from sub-beginner
