Seriously?

Here's a passing thought: if Osama Bin Laden were using steroids or performance enhancing drugs, do you think we could finally locate him get him before some type of committee? I know it's not new news, or even almost-new news, but I just now read yet another headline on the matter.

Seriously, why is Congress wasting our tax money on whether Roger Clemens did or didn't? Let's see: we're looking at probably the most unprecedented presidential election in history while we're how many years into an increasingly unpopular war and possibly standing at the front door of a recession and they're still wasting time and money on baseball?

I guess they don't call it "The Great American Pass-time" for nothing, huh?

I feel pretty, oh so pretty!

Is this story from FoxNews.com the height of vanity, or is there indeed a sinister, secretive plot by airline flight attendants to rid planes of passengers who are just too darn "pretty" to have roaming about the cabin? After all, "no one else on the flight except [them] looked like [them]" and we all know what kind of shenanigans that can cause.

You've got to read this...

Yeah, I know...I'm a bad blogger. But I'm a busy guy (it looks like I might actually finish a real BOOK sometime very soon) and there's lots of internet out there which requires my absolute attention. And that, my friends, is what brings me here tonight. While perusing the Beretta Forum, I ran across a link to this gem which you will need to read. By the way, even if you aren't a "gun person" you may even still get this guy's vibe. But if you are a gunnie (we'll pretend that's the gun world's equivalent to a foodie which should not be confused with Gunny--as in E-7, USMC) than this may be the best thing you read today. And you get bonus geek points if you can catch the Invader Zim reference!

In any event, you need to read this now. So here it is: Best Gun Article You're Going to Read Today!

Finally.

Sometime ago, I was wondering why just about every "new" firearm was built on 100+ year-old technology. Just about every offering from the major makers is based on the the Browning tilting barrel system or some modification thereof.

Now, there's something new.

Feast your eyes on the Super-V system.

I know--and you're welcome.
