100 things about wayne

1. I am a Christian. Not a self-righteous, bible-thumper--a Christian.
2. I love my wife.
3. She is my best friend.
4. And I prefer her company to anyone else’s.
5. I love movies.
6. But hate theaters
7. I love riding motorcycles.
8. But do not currently own one.
9. I believe in personal responsibility over liability lawsuits.
10. I am a card-carrying Republican.
11. And I vote.
12. I think the media has way too much influence in our lives.
13. I have literally been around the world.
14. I have the medal to prove it.
15. I served my country in the U. S. Navy.
16. I hate mornings.
17. So I have always migrated to the evening shifts.
18. I do not have a single hour of college credit
19. But I would like to, someday.
20. I cry a little every time I watch Saving Private Ryan.
21. I love my parents.
22. But don’t call them often enough.
23. I love to shoot.
24. But haven’t hunted in years.
25. I will never hunt anything for ‘sport’.
26. I am a photographer.
27. But I don’t make a living from photos.
28. Photography may get me back in the classroom.
29. I don’t spend enough time taking photos.
30. Because I spend too much time at the PC.
31. I am a certifiable net junkie.
32. I have built 4 PCs. And they all work.
33. I love to cook.
34. I love to eat what I have cooked.
35. I rarely drink alcohol these days.
36. Back in the day, I drank a lot of alcohol.
37. I quit smoking cold turkey and have never lapsed.
38. I will never again be a slave to tobacco.
39. My favorite sidearm is the Beretta 92FS.
40. I own one and fire it as often as possible.
41. Me and chocolate are ‘tight like dat’.
42. I am a very aggressive driver.
43. I am aggravated very easily by bad drivers.
44. I very frequently curse them out loud while driving.
45. I am working on that.
46. My all time favorite car is the 2004 Acura TL.
47. It used to be the ‘88 Lotus Espirit Turbo.
48. I have 4 tattoos, but it looks like 3.
49. I can’t see myself getting another, but one never knows.
50. I don’t have a “favorite” color, but I do think certain things look better in a particular color.
51. I can’t stand white vehicles.
52. My greatest fear is failing as a provider for my family.
53. I love the sound of waves breaking on the beach.
54. I love the smell of fresh-cut grass.
55. But I hate mowing.
56. If I had the resources, I would retire tomorrow.
57. I don’t need to work to define myself.
58. If I did retire tomorrow, there would be a beach involved.
59. I’m glad I was raised in a small town.
60. But very happy to live in the city now.
61. I consider my wedding day the best day of my life.
62. The worst was the day I was arrested for DUI.
63. I am a dog person.
64. I am the oldest of 6 siblings.

66. I don’t believe alcoholism is a disease.

70. I won the Jerry Lewis spelling bee in third grade.

93. I believe people who abuse children should be shot immediately after conviction.

95. I have an almost paralyzing fear of heights.
