I'm working on more designs following the theme of Animated Woodcraft. But I'm working on others that just sit there and look interesting. To have a successful business I guess you need variety (among other things:) Here are some I'm working on or just thinking about: A miniatures room box built into a table lamp, 1" or 1/2" scale. A 1/2" scale house, cottage, shop, etc. built into a table lamp. The building could be an accurate representation of a building or a stylized version. A table top bookcase/magazine rack built into a lamp. (Or without the lamp). Sewing supply center in a table top lamp. (My wife says she might use it). A more modern version of a display lamp, with or without the turntable. A display tailored lamp to feature sports memorabilia. (What size?). Wooden coffee table games and puzzles (sort of like the "coffee table books" that impress or entertain). Built in motion sensors to activate the turntable display lamps. So what do you think of these ideas? What else should I try?
