Animated Woodcraft are much more than ordinary woodcraft. Animated Woodcraft products do something! For instance, Circus Time is an "automaton". It is a multi-part wooden face where the different parts move...when you walk up to it. The wooden "turntable display lamp" has one moving part, a turntable. Put your collectible on it and watch it slowly turn under a bright overhead light.These projects represent the extremes of what Animated Woodcraft can be. The complex and the simple. The Photo Gallery shows a few more woodcraft projects I've built. I'm just beginning. Not everything I build will be animated. But it will be unusual and interesting. I'm designing and building additional woodcraft projects. Some of my ideas are listed in the Future Products section. There will be items for folks interested in collectibles, memorabilia, and doll house miniatures. One idea is to build a 1" scale room box into a table lamp. Another is to build a simple 1/2 scale cottage or shop into a table lamp. If there were a need, I could build animated people or objects to go inside. How about a barn/lamp with moving animals? My MissionMy Mission is to create a family of unique animated and non-animated woodcraft products for the discriminating collector or for people who just plain like them! Stuff you won't find anywhere else! Of course all my products will be hand crafted in the USA.
