This image was shot on film with a 14mm lens mounted on a boom that stuck out from the helicopter's right strut. It was fired by remote control. The goal was to get the aircraft, it's crew, and the statehouse all in the same shot at sunset. Even though the camera was less than two feet from the 'bubble' of the helicopter, it's superwide perspective gives the impression that it was many feet away. This was for the cover of a helicopter magazine. Nikon F4, NPH 400 film, 14mm f/3.5 Nikor
