This is the origi nal Tamiya BlackFoot r/c truck. It has an old Futaba style radio and mechanical speed control. This truck was "state of the art" in the mid 80's. It is still a blast to drive, and brings back many memori  es. I'll admit handling is pretty lame by todays standards, but hey it's practicaly an antique.

If you'd like to see a RM style movie of this "Relic" please click here. (700k)  This should be a great example of how a lot of us "Old Timers" got started. If you showed up at the local school yard with one of these you'd really be turning some heads.

If you'd like to see a movie of my King Blackfoot playing in New Englands first and long awaited snow this winter, click here. It's a 3 meg RM. The King has a "better?" wishbone style suspension. Sure it's better than the orig, but Tamiya still lags behind others in performance. Scale appearence is great, but that's about it.

Heres a 3.9 mpeg of a Super Blackfoot. Which I think was the best handling and toughest out of all 3 renditions.
