Here is the build up of my Cheetah resin kit I purchased from Mike at Pastime hobbies.

Motor and axles, misc parts came from Gene at Slotcar Place or the old parts bin.
For wheels I chose BWA32001's up front, and BWA32003's in the rear. Tires are MRRC cobra. I like the Slot-it SICH07 guide for routed tracks as I have carrera track. For braid I chose carrera. Motor is a NC-1 with 9 tooth pinion spinning a 27 tooth crown gear on a Ninco rear axle, a 3/32 piano wire is the front axle.
The chassis had some flashing but nothing major. The body is a really good casting. Best shape resin body I have bought so far. Nice and smooth, little prep work needed before painting. I was very impressed with it. I'm going to paint it white with some monogram decals.
In this picture you can see the kit as it came out of the box.
It's hard to see but the drivers head, and carbs are in the bag. Lexan "glass" is in the upper right.

I started out putting the chassis together first. I brushed some black primer onto the chassis first. The rear bushings are ninco's I superglued in. Take your time drilling the guide hole. I guess I was careles and broke it. So using the dremel I sanded the chassis bottom down and glued a brass guide holding plate in place.
Buildup first image views.
Here I have put the guide in place, then put the wheels and the tires on.
Ok, I could not resist, I started making laps with it already. After running with some colgate toothpaste on the gears for a few laps the chassis was so quite it's actually silent. BTW, I round it off the front edge of the guide because it comes square and you don't want it catching in the slot.
This has to be the quitest car I own!
Here is a nice side shot showing how the chassis sits on the track. The front wheels turn because the axle is riding in slotted groves so weight is kept on the guide.
I won't be using a magnet, and with the brass guide plate up front I don't even think I'll need any more weight added.
Here is the body all painted with the lexan "glass" glued in and interior painted up.
For glueing glass I use testors windshield model glue, it dries clear and no "fogging".

Almost finished, I just need to paint and glue in some wheel inserts.

This is easily the best Resin kit I've tried so far IMHO.
The only goof up or problem I had was opening the guide hole and that was 100% my fault.
Finishing the body and interior was straight forward. First a quick touch up sanding to some wheel well flashing. Then washed it good, and then after drying I sprayed the body in primer. I then wet sanded, prepped and shot it white. Some of monogram's decals and a clearcoat to finish it.
