Rhode Island's Hot's Only Scholarship

<< 6/10/2004 >> DFC online is up and running Hey folks, it's been a while. But we have the site up. People wanted to know who we are in order to understand what kind of people would do a hot girl scholarship, and as you'll find out, we're all goofs. The way we look at it, there's not a better way to go through life than being goofy and having a good time. We'll be posting some more pics of the winner, and the offer for the "applicants" page stills stands. If you applied and want your pic up on the site, e-mail us. A note to everyone however is, there is NOTHING wrong with this scholarship, and to ridicule the winner on the Guestbook is simply childish. She's simply the one we chose out of the top 5-hottest/smartest girls in RI. And I KNOW some people wont read this, go straight to the Guestbook, and sign a bad comment. But any BAD comments will be deleted. We love freedom of speech, but the entire idea behind this scholarship was to make a point using humor and good intentions, so dont try to make fun of anyone. And please, don't be upset if YOUR choice for the winner wasn't our choice. As we've said, "our money, our choice" << 5/2/2004 >> AND THE WINNER IS! We DID NOT seek press on this, in every occasion WE were contacted by whomever wanted information. This is and always has been a JOKE on people who take life and things in it too seriously. We emphasize that although we are awarding money, it is NOT meant to anger anyone. So just sit back, relax, develop a sense of humor and realize that it’s a good thing to joke about topics that people find controversial. In this world today, its pointless to get mad at something like this. Instead, spend your time doing something you enjoy, go out and enjoy the world, because life is too short to get upset about anything that is meant as a joke. Thank You, The Management

	Rules and regulations : Must be either a Rhode Island resident or be enrolled in a Rhode Island School of Higher education (i.e. College, university or institute) Must be 18 years of age or older (Sorry kiddies, we can't judge minors, that's a no no)
	All Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or above to be eligible for this scholarship. We lowered it since no one was applying with the 3.0 GPA minimum. HOWEVER!!!!!!! WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR THE SMARTEST! Be mindful it IS a minority scholarship, and hot smart girls are rare. And if this part angers you, you either have no sense of humor or you're ugly. If you don't have a GPA of 2.0 and above, e-mail us anyway if you think you should be considered, be sure to include WHY you should be considered anyways.

	A Photo must be submitted to prove applicants "hotness". If a gag photo, such as a model, pop star, or anyone of fame is submitted, application will be denied. (Photo may be attached to e-mail or a link may be provided.)
	Most importantly, An Essay must be submitted first explaining why applicant thinks she is hot. And secondly, what accomplishments applicant has made academically and any extra curricular activities that would convince us that you're the best candidate for the scholarship. Remember we’re looking for the hottest SMARTEST girl in RI.
